‘Lucky’ for ‘New York’ cast: How ‘The New York Times’ made their TV debut

In the wake of “The New Yorker” series, the cast of “Lucky” is officially back in New York.

The new series premiered on Friday night, Jan. 29, in the iconic Times Square Times Square Studios.

The cast is back for the new season, but the showrunner, Joe Weisberg, was unable to reveal any additional details about the show, including who will play the lead roles.

Weisburg told The Hollywood Reporter that the show is set in the 1990s and focuses on a young couple who move to New York City.

“We’re doing it with the kind of optimism that people who have lived in New Orleans and spent a lifetime in this city, we’re going to do something with it that people feel like they can relate to,” Weisberger said.

“People can relate, because they’ve experienced what it’s like to be on the opposite side of history.”

In an interview with “GMA,” Weiser said he and the writers had a “dream” to return to the fictional city after the show’s cancellation, and that the team is looking forward to continuing to “create this city with a little more heart and soul.”
