Real Estate Prices In Scottsdale – March 2018

A year ago, real estate prices in Scottsville were up to $1.9 million.

That’s up from $1 million in February 2018, but still way below the market’s peak in 2016, when it was up to more than $3.3 million.

This year, realtors are forecasting prices will be in the $1-$2 million range.

Realtors will see more than 5,000 listings for sale this year, up from about 2,000 last year, according to the Arizona Association of Realtors.

“We think Scotts-Dorchester is poised to have a solid year, but not just a solid one,” said Tom DeNardo, the association’s president.

“We are seeing a number of developments that we think could be very attractive, but there is more to come.”

Her husband, Matt, who is also a realtor, said he’s seeing more people coming to Scotts for home repairs.

Matt said there are people coming in from out of state looking to buy homes in Scottes area.

They are buying a 2,600 square foot home in Scotters Valley for about $2.3-million.

Marielle said it’s an affordable time for the area, with new development, as well as the new home being built.

“The market is really hot right now, so there is a lot of activity going on in the area,” she said.

I think Scotty County will be really competitive in the year to come,” said Lisa, who declined to give her last name for fear of being targeted by thieves.

Lisa and her husband moved to Scotting from Ohio in January 2018.

They bought a house in the town for $1 per square foot in 2019.

There were three other people in their family that bought a home in 2017, but Lisa said they’ve been able to sell their houses because of the influx of people moving in.

While home prices are rising, they said they are still not getting enough income to pay for a down payment.

Linda said they have to find somewhere to live and she has a family emergency fund.
